iTIG II Mini

The iTIG II MINI is no exception to Electrom’s commitment to world class support.  We will continue to support the iTIG II MINI.  Please inquire about our trade in and upgrade options.

The iTIG II MINI series of winding analyzers and motor analyzers comes with max output voltages of 4kV and 6kV for both DC Hipot and high frequency Surge tests.

The iTIG II MINI can be used with the PP-II Power Packs to form the lightest and most portable 18kV, 24kV, 30kV and 40kV motor test set available. The iTIG II MINI is lightweight, rugged and designed for field tests.  The design is modular, and all models can be upgraded to the highest level models and outputs later.

Power Packs Used with the ITIG and TIG Series Motor Analyzers

The picture with the Capture Pro screen shows the TIG Model D with an early version of a Power Pack motor tester. The PC was used to capture test data and generate reports, and was connected to the TIG Model D motor analyzer during the test.

Power Packs came with DC Hipot and Surge Test outputs form 15kV to 30kV.

Power Packs with surge test outputs up to 80kV were also produced in larger enclosures.

The second Power Pack picture is with an iTIG motor analyzer.

Today the Power Pack used with the iTIG II series of motor analyzers is significantly lighter, has much higher output energy, and can do automatic tests.

iTIG History

The computerized iTIG motor tester at left included report capabilities using TRPro for iTIG. The tester was available in 4 different models with optional Power Packs.

The TIG digital motor tester at right included the ability to generate reports using Capture Pro software that could be controlled from a PC. In earlier days, the TIG used a DOS version of software to generate reports.

Production of the analog TIG surge tester and winding analyzer at left started in 1986, and many continue in operation today. We still repair units of this series built as far back as the late 1980s when it makes sense for the user.

Capture Pro report software, screen shown right, below the TIG/Power Pack motor analyzer image, was originally developed in the 1990s to work on Microsoft Windows XP and earlier versions of Windows. While Electrom no longer develops or supports Capture Pro, the report software is still available should you need it.
